2029 Connecticut Avenue represents one of Washington's most sought after Beaux Arts buildings situated prominently atop Connecticut Avenue in the distinguished neighborhood of Kalorama. Until it went condo in 1977, 2029 Connecticut had only 22 residences — at that point, two parlors off the lobby were converted to sales units. With only 24 residences building-wide, only one or two units trade each year making 2029 one of the hardest buildings in which to acquire a residence.  Owners love the location and the amenities combined with the spectacular architecture the grand style 2029 embodies. Life in Chic Kalorama

Developed mostly between 1897 and 1931, Kalorama is full of beautiful views and old-world appeal. Home to several embassies, in addition to the Woodrow Wilson House, Kalorama is a spectacular neighborhood full of historical charm. Adjacent to vibrant Dupont Circle with a multitude of restaurants and shops, Kalorama offers a quiet lifestyle just blocks from the pulse of the city.  A Sunday morning farmer's market is a neighborhood gem where you can buy everything from fresh flowers to locally grown produce, gourmet cheeses, meats and baked goods.  For outdoor enjoyment, Rock Creek Park runs along the northern side of Kalorama and offers excellent walking paths, horse trails and dog parks.  

One of my favorite buildings! Rarely do units come available and many are sold privately. A splendid pre-war masterpiece of grand proportions, old word detailing, and a superb walkable location.

Accessing the Best of DC from 2029 Connecticut Avenue

2029 is located on Connecticut Avenue, NW between California Street and Wyoming Avenue, convenient to the Dupont Circle and Woodley Park Metro stations on the Red Line.  Summon Uber any time or grab one of the abundant taxi cabs available right at the door along Connecticut Avenue.  You can walk to a multitude of restaurants and shops in Kalorama and neighboring Dupont Circle. Residents enjoy close proximity to the White House, Reagan National Airport and the Kennedy Center.
