Most Units Sold

Two of our coveted "It" Buildings made the ranks of "Most Units Sold," including Lafayette in Penn Quarter and Turnberry Tower in Arlington with three units sold each. Five buildings captured two sales each: Chase Point in Friendship Heights; City Vista, Ten Ten Mass and Yale Steam Laundry in Mount Vernon Triangle; and The Weslie in Arlington.

 

Highest Sales Prices

Earning top sale price, Unit TS04 at Turnberry Tower in Arlington, a 2,650 sq.ft. Tower Suite top floor penthouse with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half-baths, plus a 500 sq. ft balcony, was listed for $2,995,000 and sold $2,775,000. Unit 401 at The Edgemoor at Arlington closed $1,900,000 for 2,435 posh sq. ft. with two bedrooms and two-and-a-half-baths. Other top money-earners included a two-bedroom two bath at The Watergate in Foggy Bottom for $1,520,000, a $1,250,000 condo at Chase Point in Friendship Heights, a $985,000 Georgetown  residence at the landmark Flour Mill, and a two bedroom and two-and-a-half-baths unit at The Weslie in Arlington that commanded $830,000.

 

Highest Sales Price to List Ratio

Unit 1229 at Lafayette in Penn Quarter sold for $525,000 — 105.21% above list. Watergate Unit 306 in Foggy Bottom closed at 101.6% over list, while three more sales matched 100% of list at Turnberry Tower and The Odyssey in Arlington, and Yale Steam Laundry in Mount Vernon Triangle. City Vista Unit 511 sold for $642,900 — 99.99% of list.

 

Highest Prices Per Square Foot

Unit TS04 at Turnberry Tower in Arlington, a dazzling Tower Suite sold for $1,047.17 per square foot. Unit 326 at Watergate in Foggy Bottom  closed at $880.14 a square foot. Other leaders were Chase Point in Friendship Heights at $809.59 a square, The Columbia in West End at $792.16, The Edgemoor at Arlington at $780.29 and Lofts 14 in Logan Circle at $744.51.

 

Highest Price New Listings

At $3,395,000 Unit 5D at Wardman Tower offered the building's last D floorplan. 2002 Massachusetts Avenue unveiled its Unit 4 Penthouse with sweeping views of Dupont Circle for $3,335,000. Somerset House in Friendship Heights listed Unit #17D for $2,500,000. The luxurious 2770 sq. ft. penthouse includes bedrooms in separate wings.Other top new listings were The Adele Unit #701 in West End for $2,499,900, 2501 Pennsylvania Unit #2A for $2,250,000, and Cooper Lewis Unit #402 for $2,249,900.
