Most Units Sold
The Watergate in Foggy Bottom sold six units, followed by five buildings with two sales each: 555 Mass and The Whitman in Mount Vernon Triangle, Chase Point in Friendship Heights, The Lafayette in Penn Quarter, and The Odyssey in Arlington.
Highest Sales Prices
Six "It Buildings" topped the list of highs for December including: Penthouse Unit 1 D at The Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown at the top with $4,975,000. The Watergate in Foggy Bottom closed second with a $3,000,000 sale for a 3-bedroom, 4-bath penthouse. The Ventana in Penn Quarter set a new high price of $2,750,000 for a 5- bedroom, 4-and-a-half bath residence. Completing the list were City Center in Mount Vernon Triangle followed by Chase Point and Somerset House in Friendship Heights.
Highest Sales Price to List Ratio
With 107.77%, Unit 1014 at The Watergate in Foggy Bottom earned highest price above list selling for $430,000. Other leaders: In Logan Circle the Metropole at 105.18% and Matrix at 102.79%; in Mount Vernon Triangle three buildings closed out the list — 555 Mass at 102.07%, City Vista at 101.22%, and The Whitman at 100.93%.
Highest Prices Per Square Foot
With a whopping $1,220.16 per SF City Center in Mount Vernon Triangle was on top followed by Ritz-Carlton Georgetown ($1,153.22), The Watergate in Foggy Bottom ($997.67), Chase Point in Friendship Heights ($860.44), Q 14 in Logan Circle ($840.63) and The Waterview in Arlington ($787.84).
Highest Price New Listings
The new Wardman Tower in Woodley Park premiered with two properties including an $8,499,000 penthouse followed by 3303 Water Street in Georgetown at $2,175,000, and Memorial Overlook in Arlington at $1,850,000 and 2101 Connecticut in Kalorama at $1,799,000
