Most Units Sold

Three of our "It" Buildings sold three units each: Ritz-Carlton West End in the West End, Somerset House in Friendship Heights, and Turnberry Tower in Arlington. Eight buildings followed up with two sales each including 555 Mass in Mount Vernon Triangle, Union Row in U Street Corridor and The Watergate in Foggy Bottom

 

Highest Sales Prices

Penthouse PH1A at 2501 Pennsylvania in West End captured Highest Sale Price — the two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath commanded a $3,120,000 closing. Other top sellers included Turnberry Tower in Arlington, Somerset House in Friendship Heights, Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle, Ritz-Carlton West End in West End, and City Center in Mount Vernon Triangle.

 

Highest Sales Price to List Ratio

At Somerset House in Friendship Heights, the two-bedroom, two bath unit 1-605 was listed for $875,000 and sold for $930,000 — 106.29% above list. Five more buildings where buyers snapped up well-priced condos and paid more than 100% of list: The Floridian in U Street Corridor, City Vista and Ten Ten Mass in Mount Vernon Triangle, Ventana and The Pennsylvania in Penn Quarter.

 

Highest Prices Per Square Foot

Penthouse PH1A at 2501 Pennsylvania in West End, commanded $1,150.44 per square foot. Other leaders with highly sought square feet included Turnberry Tower in Arlington, City Center in Mount Vernon Triangle, Somerset House in Friendship Heights, Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle and Ritz-Carlton West End.

 

Highest Price New Listings

The Highest Price New Listing in August was also the Highest Sales earner — Penthouse PH1A at 2501 Pennsylvania in West End was listed for $3,200,000 and sold for $3,120,000. Other top new listings were offered at Turnberry Tower in Arlington, The Oronoco in Alexandria, 3303 Water Street in Georgetown and Lionsgate in Bethesda.
