Most Units Sold

Clara Barton in Penn Quarter and Gallery Place in Chinatown sold four units in July. City Center and Madrigal Lofts, both in Mount Vernon Triangle, recorded three sales each. Seven buildings had two sales each including the Ritz-Carlton West End and Turnberry Tower in Arlington.

Highest Sales Prices

At City Center in Mount Vernon Triangle, unit 1101 was listed for $2,627,000 and sold for $2,350,000. Lionsgate in Bethesda, a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath condo was listed and sold for full price of $1,900,000. A rare triplex pwnthouse measuring almost 2500 square feet at the Ritz-Carlton West End sold for $1,825,000. Three more stunners finished the list including Somerset House in Friendship Heights at $1,750,000, Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle at $1,350,000, and Chase Point in Friendship Heights at $1,250,000.

Highest Sales Price to List Ratio

Gallery Place unit 921 in Chinatown was listed for $389,000 and closed at $419,000. That beat the list price by over 107%! Other buildings with sales of over 100% of list were Solo Piazza and Metropole in Logan Circle, 555 Mass and City Vista in Mount Vernon Triangle, and The Odyssey in Arlington.

Highest Prices Per Square Foot

Listed at $1,349,900, unit #46 at Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle sold for $1,350,000 — $962 per SF This was the first sale in a full year for Dunbarton Place. Other top sellers were City Center in Mount Vernon Triangle, Chase Point in Friendship Heights, Metropole in Logan Circle, Somerset House in Friendship Heights, and The Columbia in West End.

Highest Price New Listings

An astounding 3303 Water Street penthouse in Georgetown features a 1,400 SF private terrace. Breathtaking water views abound throught this rare three-bedroom, three-bath condo with den listed at $5,750,000. Other tops new listings included two at Somerset House in Friendship Heights and one at The Waterview in Arlington.
