Most Units Sold

Three of our "It Buildings" registered the Most Units Sold in April: Chase Point in Friendship Heights, Clara Barton in Penn Quarter and Turnberry Tower in Arlington. Selling three units each, kudos went to Atrium in Arlington, Gallery Place in Chinatown, The Columbia in West End and Union Row in U Street Corridor. Eight buildings sold two units each: The Artisan and The Lafayette in Penn Quarter, Madrigal Lofts and The Whitman in Mouth Vernon Triangle, 2020 Lofts in U Street, Somerset House in Friendship Heights, The Odyssey in Arlington, and The Watergate in Foggy Bottom.

Highest Sales Prices

A rarely available Turnberry Tower model J in Arlington is a 3-bedroom, 3-and-a-half bath residence with over 3,000 square feet — it topped the charts when it sold for $3,050,000. Second place was earned by Somerset House which combined Units 1103 and 1104 into a 4-bedroom, 4-and-a-half bath showcase with 4,040 square feet and 3 parking spaces. Unit 5F at 3303 Water Street in Georgetown took third place, selling the 2-bedroom, 2-and-a-half bath condo in a 2,054 square foot floor plan. Other top sellers included Hampden Row in Bethesda where unit 306 captured $1,800,000 for a 2-bedroom, 2-and-a-half bath condo with 1,865 square feet; Gaslight Square in Arlington sold unit 218 — a 2-bedroom, 3-bath condo for $1,505,000, and Chase Point in Friendship Heights capped off the top sales when unit 202 closed on a $1,325,000 sale for a 2-bedroom, 2-and-a-half bath condo with 1,906 square feet.

 

Highest Sales Price to List Ratio

Unit 204 at The Sonata in Mount Vernon Triangle took top honors in List to Sales Ratio earning 106.25% over list. Listed for $399,000, the 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo sold for $425,000. Five more buildings topped list price including The Whitman in Mouth Vernon Triangle (103.28%), Solo Piazza in Logan Square (102.63%), Atrium in Arlington (101.68%), Madrigal Lofts in Mouth Vernon Triangle (101.12%) and Turnberry Tower in Arlington (100.84%).

 

Highest Prices Per Square Foot

Unit 5F at 3303 Water Street in Georgetown won the battle for highest priced square feet with $1,314.51. Other leaders in the April standings included Turnberry Tower in Arlington unit 2102 with $1,001.64, Bethesda's Hampden Row unit 303 with $965.15, City Center unit 605 in Mount Vernon Triangle with $840.75, Somerset House unit 401 in Friendship Heights with $829.01 and The Columbia unit 206 in West End with $816.67.

 

Highest Price New Listings

Wardman Tower #7C in Woodley Park scaled the heights with a spectacular 4,648 square foot floor plan including 3-bedroom, 3-and-a-half baths and unsurpassed amenities. Next, Watergate West in Foggy Bottom offers 4 bedrooms, 3-and-a-half baths in 3,400 square feet in two combined units for $4,300,000. And Wardman Tower unit 6C is another Woodley Park stunner with 3-bedrooms, 3-and-a-half baths in 3,123 square feet offered for $4,295,000. In West End, two Westlight 3-bedroom, 3-bath units 7C (2,857 Sq. St.) and 10A (2,684 Sq. Ft.) are listed for $3,995,000 and $3,957,000. And unit 8C at 3303 Water Street in Georgetown, a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo, was offered for $3,990,000.
